Granger stood in line, looking up at the menu on the wall. When it was his turn to order he asked for, “Three cheeseburgers, three small fries, and three small colas.”

He paid the bill and waited for his meal to be bagged and the drinks to be placed in a cardboard holder. Meanwhile he pocketed napkins and straws.

“Here ya go.”

“Thanks.” Granger left the restaurant and walked back to his car. The minute he spotted Romeo leaning against Thomas, and Thomas holding onto his baby, Granger smiled happily. He knew. Yes. He knew once they met things would be fine. As he approached Romeo jumped up and down in excitement. “I love Thomas! Granger, he’s incredible!”

“Take a soda. And stop jumping like a frog and help me out. There’s a burger and fries in there for you.” Granger opened the bag after he set the cardboard holder on the trunk of his car.

“I didn’t want to eat, but I should. Thanks.” Romeo removed a wrapped hamburger and small bag of fries.

“You too.” Granger held the bag out to Thomas.

“Thanks.” He also took one of each.

Granger slid down the side of his car and crouched over the tarmac to place his soda beside him and use his lap to set his food on.

The other two did the same and they huddled together eating.

“I’ll regret this calorie overload,” Thomas said.

“That’s why I got small sizes. I hate junk food.” Granger ate the tiny burger in three bites and began working on the fries.

“So?” Romeo barely touched his food. “What did you guys do tonight?”

“Had rough sex after a bath.” Granger laughed.

“Nice!” Romeo looked at Thomas. “Love having rough sex with him, don’t you?”

Thomas choked on his sip of soda through the straw. Then laughed.

“Maybe you two can both be my slaves.” Granger gave Thomas a wicked leer.

“Yes!” Romeo pumped his arm over his head. “I would love that.”

“Would you love that, Thomas?” Granger winked at him.

“I’ll try anything once.” Thomas winked back.

Romeo kissed Thomas’ cheek and smiled affectionately at him. “Bet you’re hot in bed.”

“Holy crap.” Thomas laughed with his mouth full of food. “You two young dudes will kill me.”

“No. We’ll love you.” Romeo threw him a kiss.

“Yeah, Mr Perkins, we’ll love you.” Granger crushed all the wrappers and put them into the bag, sipping his soda.

“Mr Perkins,” Romeo repeated, giggling. “He’s a real man, isn’t he, Granger?”

“Mm. A real man.” Granger caught Thomas’ smile of approval and stared off into the bustling parking lot, imagining not one, not two, but three…in bed.
